Edward Mendoza is named on Venom Ink's current staff page as the studio's senior tattoo artist, and the homepage credits Edward Jhon Mendoza as the founder who started the business in 2020. His individual profile page says he is originally from the Philippines, found tattooing in high school, moved to Canada and built his first Terrace shop with his team, works at 180 dollars per hour, and specialises in realism and in what the page calls Oriental styles with close attention to detail. Only realism is recorded as a normalised style, because the page's Oriental wording has no exact match in the project vocabulary. The Instagram account linked from every page of the site is titled with his name and is treated as both his professional profile and the studio account.
